Section 13(2) in Andhra Pradesh Municipal Corporations Act, 1994
(2)Such ceasor shall not effect;-(a)the previous operation of the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965 in respect of the local area comprised within any newly specified larger urban area for which a Corporation is constituted;(b)any penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any offence committed against the Andhra Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1965, or(c)any investigation, legal proceedings or remedy in respect of such penalty, forfeiture or punishment, and any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed as if this Act had not been passed.
