Section 14(4) in The Tinsukia and Dibrugarh Electric Supply Undertakings (Acquisition) Act, 1973
(4)Notwithstanding anything contained in Section 32 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (Central Act 5 of 1898), it shall be lawful for any Magistrate of the First Class specially empowered by the Government in this behalf, to impose a sentence of fine not exceeding two thousand rupees when awarding punishment under sub-section (1) or (2).
