Section 49 in Tamil Nadu Educational Inspection Code
49. Relationship with the public.
- Indifference of discourtesy towards the members of the public coming to Government officials for relief or guidance is positively bad the conduct and personal relations of Government Servants with the public should be so regulated as to reflect their duty to "serve" in the best interests of the people and the country. It is the duty of the Government Servants to treat the ryots and other members of the public who came before them with due courtesy.
