Section 12(4) in The Bengal Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Rules, 1946
(4)No workman shall leave the premises of the establishment during his working hours without special permission of the Manager or the officer authorised by the employer in this behalf, and any workman who, after checking in, is found absent from his proper place of work during working hours without permission or without sufficient reason, shall be liable to be treated as absent without leave.
