Section 17(1) in The Bihar Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2003
(1)The Officer-in-Charge shall be responsible for the following, namely :-(a)security measure and periodical inspection thereof;(b)proper maintenance of buildings and premises;(c)prompt, firm and considerate handling of all disciplinary matters;(d)careful handling of plant and equipment;(e)accident preventive measures;(f)fire preventive measures;(g)segregation of juvenile or child suffering from contagious or infectious diseases;(h)proper storage and inspection of foodstuffs;(j)stand-by arrangements for water storage, power plant, emergency lighting, etc.
