     Writ petition (civil) praying inter alia that in the circumstances
stated in the affidavit filed along with the WP(C) the High Court be
pleased to direct the 4th respondent to rectify the mistake creped in
remarks column of the ROR by deleting the Thandapper No.1244 and
incoporating the correct Thandapper No.13666 in accordance with the law
prevailing in our country.


     This petition coming on for admission upon perusing the petition and
the affidavit filed in support of WP(C) and upon hearing the arguments of
SRI.N.P.SETHU, Advocate for the petitioner, the court passed the
following:

                                        ORDER

The reason stated for not being able to correct the Thandapper number in the remarks column of the RoR is that the computer software which is available does not permit such a correction by the Village Officer. The reason is far from satisfactory.

The Government Pleader to ascertain whether there is any other method by which this can be sorted out.
