Section 2(3) in The Gujarat Land Requisition Act, 1948
(3)The [State] [This word was substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] Government may, at any time by like notification, direct that any or all of the provisions of this Act shall cease to extend to any area and on such date as may be specified in the notification; and on that date the said provisions shall cease to be in force in such area.
