Section 26(2) in Himachal Pradesh Technical University Act, 2014
(2)An Officer or an employee of the University shall be on probation for a period of one year in the first instance. In case his appointment has been continued for over a period of one year he shall be deemed to be on probation for a period of one year commencing from the date of his first appointment within a continuous period of two years :Provided that it shall be competent for the Board to extend the period of probation for a period not exceeding one year.
