Section 67 in The Kerala Prisons and Correctional Services (Management) Act, 2010
67. Reformation and pre-release programmes.—
(1)The Government and the Director General shall undertake measures, formulate and implement programmes for the reformation of the prisoners.(2)The Director General shall arrange suitable pre-release programmes in such prisons as the Government may direct for the benefit of those prisoners who are sentenced to more than three years of imprisonment, with the objective of their ultimate rehabilitation in society in such manner as may be prescribed.
