12. Disabilities of a defaulting member
(1)No member of a Co-operative Society, who is in arrears to the society in respect of any loan taken by him, for such period as is specified in its bye-laws or in any case for a period exceeding three months from the date it is due, shall be appointed to represent the society in any other Co-operative Society and to vote on its behalf in such other Co-operative Society.(2)Where a member of Co-operative Society so appointed falls in arrears to the society for the period specified in sub-rule (1) subsequent to his appointment, he shall cease to be a representative of the society as from the end of the said period.
