(3)It shall come into force in such areas from such [dates] [This Act came into force in Belgaum Area on 15.2.1959, in Gulbarga Area on 1.8.1959, & in rest of the State on 18.9.1957. Text of the notification is at the end of the Act.] as the State Government may by notification in the [Karnataka Gazette] [Adapted by the Karnataka Adaptations of Laws Order, 1973 w.e.f. 01.11.1973.] specify.
