Section 2(21) in Sher-I-Kashmir Universities of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Act, 1982
(21)"Teacher" means a person appointed or recognized by the University for the purpose of imparting instruction or conducting and guiding research or extension education programme and includes the person who may be declared by the Statutes or regulations to be a teacher;
