(3)[The Vice-chancellor may, on the recommendation of the Syndicate] [Substituted 'The Senate may' by Act No. 14 of 2001.] also remove any person from the membership of any authority or body of the University if he becomes of unsound mind or a deaf-mute or has applied to be adjudicated or has been adjudicated an insolvent.
