Section 1 in Arunachal Pradesh Municipal Act, 2007
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Arunachal Pradesh Municipal Act, 2007.(2)It shall extend to the whole of the State of Arunachal Pradesh or part thereof as may be notified by the State Government from time to time excluding defence areas therein.(3)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf, and different dates may be appointed for different municipal areas.
