Powers, etc., of Board as Conservator or Body appointed under section 36 of Indian Ports Act .-All the powers, authorities and restrictions contained in this Act in respect of the works by this Act authorised, shall apply to the works which may be executed by the Board as the Conservator of the port or as the body appointed under sub-section (1) of section 36 of the Indian Ports Act, [* * *] and also to the sanction of such works, the estimates therefor, and the expenditure thereunder.
