Section 7(1) in The National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, The National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited and The North-Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (Acquisition and Transfer Of Power Transmission Systems) Act, 1993
(1)For the removal of doubts, it is hereby declared that the provisions of sections 3, 4, 5 and 6 shall apply to the extent to which any property appertains to the business relating to the power transmission system carried on by the three companies and to the rights and powers acquired, and to debts, liabilities and obligations incurred, and to contracts, agreements and other instruments made by any of the three companies and to legal proceedings relating to those matters pending in any court, tribunal or other authority in India.
