Section 2(c) in Andhra Pradesh Elementary Teacher Training Institutions/District Institutes of Education and Training (Regulation of Admissions into Diploma in Education course through Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2007
(c)"Common Entrance Test" (CET) means DIET CET examination conducted for assigning rank or merit in order, to the candidates who appear for the said test, which will be the basis for admission of the candidates into the D.Ed. course in the Government DIETs and un-aided Private Elementary Teacher Education Institutions in the State.
