Section 16(2)(b) in Tamil Nadu Private Colleges (Regulation) Rules, 1976

(b)While applying for closure or discontinuance of a class oj: course by the private college, the management of such private college should furnish the names and details of service of the Junior-most teachers and others who are rendered surplus due to such closure to the competent authority for consideration for re-deployment of such teachers to the needy colleges.
