Section 14(2) in The Jharkhand State Agricultural University Act, 2000
(2)The Academic Council of a University shall consist of the following members, namely:-(i)The Vice-Chancellor, who shall be the ex-officio Chairman;(ii)The Deans;(iii)The Directors;(iv)Principals of the Colleges;(v)All Chairman of the Post-graduate Department;(vi)Three teachers of colleges on terms and conditions prescribed by the Statutes;(vii)One Associate Professor and one Assistant Professor to be nominated by Vice-Chancellor by rotation for terms prescribed in the Statutes;(viii)Director of Resident Instruction of the other Agricultural University of the State;(ix)Two other members, who may be nominated by the Board of Management, after the approval of the Chancellor;(x)The Registrar, who shall be the ex-officio Member Secretary.
