Procedure on reference to arbitration. - When a partition has been referred to arbitration, the proceedings shall, except as hereinafter otherwise expressly provided, be conducted in accordance with the provisions of [rules 1 to 15 in Schedule II to the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908], so far as they are applicable.
