Section 2(b) in The Bihar Civil Service (Judicial Branch) (Recruitment) Rules, 1955
(b)Recruitment to the posts of [Civil Judge (Senior Division) and Civil Judge (Junior Division)] [Substituted for the word 'Subordinate Judges' Civil Judge (Senior Division) and for 'Munsif' Civil Judge (Junior Division) vide Section 3 Amendment Rules, 2005.], shall be made, by the High Court; by promotion of Munsifs confirmed under rule 27.
