1. Short title and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Indian Maritime University Act, 2008.(2)It shall come into force on such [date] [14th November, 2008, vide Notification No. S.O. 2660(E), dated 14th November, 2008] as the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
