The learned advocate for the petitioners submits that, the petitioners in all these writ petitions are similarly situated and circumstanced as that of the petitioner in W. P. No. 23994 (W) of 2015 (Amina Khatun -vs- State of West Bengal & Ors.) and 283 writ petitions disposed of along with W. P. No. 23994 (W) of 2015 by a common judgement and order dated April 12, 2016. In such circumstances, he prays for similar direction.
Some of the Council authorities are represented. The State authorities are also represented.
In such circumstances, since these writ petitions involve similar issues and the petitioners are similarly situated and circumstanced as that of the petitioners of W. P. No. 23994 (W) of 2015 and 283 other writ petitions, the same direction as issued in Amina Khatun (supra) by my judgement and order dated April 12, 2016 will apply to the petitioners here.
These writ petitions are disposed of accordingly without any order as to costs. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished on priority basis.
