Section 4(c) in The U.P. Private Forests Rules, 1950

(c)A map of the area which is permitted to be reclaimed shall be signed by the Divisional Forest Officer and attached to the permit. A copy of the map shall be kept on record by the Divisional Forest Officer in his office.
