Section 188 in Arunachal Pradesh Municipal Act, 2007
188. Prohibition for laying water pipes and construction of latrines and Cesspools.
- Subject to such terms and conditions as may be provided by regulations from time to time, the Chief Municipal Executive Officer/ Municipal Executive Officer shall have the power to prohibit-(a)laying of ware-pipes in any place where water is likely to be polluted,(b)construction of latrine or cesspool within six metres of any well, tank, water -pipe, or cistern, or(c)the use of water from any polluted source of supply.
