Section 80 in The General Rules (Civil), 1957

80. Priority to cases to which soldiers, sailors or airmen are parties.

(1)No case in which witnesses are present shall be allowed to stand out of its place in the list except for special reasons to be recorded by the Judge under his hand :Provided that every Court shall bring to a hearing without regard to the order in which they may have been filed, all suits in which an officer, soldier, sailor or airman or person who may have obtained leave of absence from the Army, Navy or Air Force, may be a party, and shall decide such suits as speedily as may be convenient and consist with due administration of justice.
(2)Priority to cases which are holding up other cases. - Suits, appeals, or applications for the decision of which other cases have been held up shall be given priority, and they shall on no account be adjourned except for good reasons.
