Section 1 in The East Punjab Molasses (Control) Act, 1948
1. Short title extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the East Punjab Molasses (Control) Act, 1948.(2)It extends to the whole of [Haryana] [Substituted for the word 'Punjab' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1968.].(3)It shall come into force at once [in the principal territories and on the 24th July, 1957 in the transferred territories] [Added by Haryana Adaptation of Laws Order, 1968.]
