Section 40 in The Tea (Distribution and Export) Control Order, 2005
40. Power to relax.
- With the prior approval of the Central Government, the Licensing Authority may, of its own or on an application submitted by a licensee, if satisfied that in enforcing compliance of any of the provisions of this Order, undue hardship would result to any licensee, for reasons to be recorded in writing, relax any such provision of this Order or exempt any licensee from complying with such provisions of this Order.
