Section 17 in Punjab Boiler Operation Engineers' Rules, 2001
17. Power to refuse to issue certificate.
- The Board of Examiners may direct any candidate, who in the opinion of the majority of the members, appear to be too old or physically unfit due to some deformity, constitutional weakness, defective eye-sight, deafness or loss of limb, to perform efficiently the duties of a Boiler Operation Engineer, to produce a certificate of fitness from a Registered Medical Practitioner and in the event of his failure to do so, the Board of Examiners may refuse him the issue of a certificate of proficiency as a Boiler Operation Engineer.
