(5)The status of autonomy may be granted initially for a period of five years subject to review by an expert committee to be constituted for this purpose. The committee shall comprise the following, namely:-(a)one nominee of the University;(b)one nominee of the State Government;(c)one nominee of the University Grants Commission;(d)one Principal of an autonomous college to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor; and(e)an officer of the University to be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.
