Section 4(b) in Multi-Storeyed and Public Buildings Rules, 1973
(b)The minimum extent of site for construction of a multi-storeyed building shall be not less than 4 grounds in extent and should have the shortest side not less than 24-50 metres (80 feet) and shall abut on a street not less than 12-25 metres (40 feet) in width.
