Section 408(a) in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
(a)buy or cause to be buried any corpse or part thereof in a grave whether dug or constructed of masonry or otherwise in such manner that the surface of the coffin or the surface of the body where no coffin is used, is at a less depth than 1.5 metres from the surface of the ground; or
