Section 54(1) in The Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (C.G.) Adhiniyam, 1987
(1)Any member other than an ex-officio member of the Board, the Academic Council or any other University Authority may resign by letter addressed to the Registrar, and the resignation shall take effect as soon as the letter is received by the Registrar.
