District Magistrates [and Chief Judicial Magistrates] [Inserted by C.S, no. 85.] are prohibited from issuing general orders in the form of circulars on judicial matters to the Magistrates subordinate to them. If there be any matter connected with the administration of criminal justice in their districts which, in their opinion, require the issue of a general order for the information and guidance of the courts subordinate to them, they should submit such order for the confirmation and approval of the High Court, without which it should in no case be issued.Residence of Gazetted Officers
