Section 7(2) in The Pepsu Court of Wards Act, 2008
(2)When the Deputy Commissioner is appointed or declared to be guardian of the person or property, or both, of a minor, under the provisions of section 18 of the Patiala Guardians and Wards Act, 2002, he shall intimate the fact to the Court of Wards, and the Court of Wards may thereupon in its discretion, either assume, or refrain from assuming, the superintendence of the person or property or both (as the case may be) of such minor, and the provisions of this Act shall, if such superintendence be so assumed, apply to the person or property, or both (as the case may be), of such minor.
