Section 91(6) in The Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966
(6)After receiving the objections under sub-section (5), the State Government may, after consulting the Planning Authority and after making such enquiry as it may think fit, by notification in the Official Gazette,-(a)appoint an Arbitrator, and thereupon the provisions of this Chapter shall so far as may be, apply to such draft variation, as if it were a draft scheme submitted to the State Government for sanction;(b)sanction the variation with or without modifications; or(c)refuse to sanction the Variation.
