Section 31A in The Bombay Weights and Measures Act, 1932
31A. [ Penalty for use of weight or measure in contravention of section 11A. [This section was inserted by Bombay 56 of 1948, Section 8.]
- Whoever uses any weight or measure or weighing or measuring instrument in contravention of any notification issued under section 11A shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment of either description which may extend to three months or with fine which may extend to rupees five hundred or with both.]
