Section 16(1) in Karnataka Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2012
(1)In performance of the Functions specified in sub-section (1) of section 24 and in order to fulfil the requirements of clause (h) of sub-section (2) of section 29, the teacher shall maintain a record containing the pupil cumulative record for every child which shall be the basis for monitoring children's progress, awarding the completion certificate specified in sub-section (2) of section 30.
