Section 62(2) in The Orissa Municipal Employees' Pension Rules, 1989
(2)The intention to refund must be stated immediately on re-employment, but the refund may be made by monthly instalments of not less than one-third of his salary or not less than the whole gratuity divided by the number of months which have elapsed since the end of the service for which the gratuity was given, whichever is less. The right to count previous service does not revive till the whole amount is refunded.
