Section 234(4) in The Tamil Nadu Building and other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Rules, 2006
(4)When a building worker works in any building or other construction work for more than 9 hours on any day or for more than 48 hours in any week, he shall, in respect of overtime work, be entitled to wages at double the ordinary rate of wages.
