Section 3(i) in Rules for Delegation of Administrative and Financial Powers in the Assam Agricultural University, 1988
(i)"Appropriation" means the assignment to meet specified expenditure of Fund included in a primary unit of appropriation i.e. Major Heads of expenditure.
