- The Deputy Commissioner of the place of export or any other officer empowered in this behalf by the Government of the State concerned will then, if the pass is in order, endorse one copy of the pass and permit the liquor to be taken from bond for despatch to the place specified in the pass, and will send the other copy also endorsed in token that the despatch has been authorised to the pass issuing officer of the importing district. If,however, the liquor is not in bond, he will deal with the copies of the pass according to the rules in force of the place of export. In the latter case the vendor may, on receipt of the importer's copy of the pass,and subject to any rules in force in the place of export, despatch the liquor to the place specified in the pass.
