26. Delegation of powers of the licensing authority.
- Along with implementing the provisions of the Public Distribution System (Control) Order, 2016 the powers entrusted to the licensing authority of issuance/renewal of license, issuance of identity cards to fair price shop owner under Public Distribution System, getting the conditions, duties and responsibilities as described in the license implemented, and of annulment of license shall not be delegated to any other authority.The action of asking show cause from the fair price shop owner on the report of an inspecting officer shall be taken only by the licensing authority.
