Section 115(2) in The M.P. Motor Vehicles Rules, 1994
(2)In addition to the registration mark, a serial number of permit allotted by the Registering Authority shall be painted on the motor cab at each of the following different place, namely :-(i)the left hand top portion of the front wind screen;(ii)on rear boot on the side of the registration mark;(iii)in the middle of the left front door; and(iv)in the middle of the right front door.
