Section 30(5) in The Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya Act, 2000
(5)The Dean shall hold office for a period of four years and shall be eligible for re-appointment for a further period of four years :Provided that no person shall hold office of the Dean for more than eight years in aggregate :Provided further that the Dean shall retire from the post if, during the term of his office including the term of re-appointment, he attains the age of sixty years.
