Section 34(1) in The M.P. Municipalities Act, 1961
(1)Subject to the provisions of this Act, a person who is enrolled in the Municipal electoral roll as a voter, shall be qualified to be a candidate -(a)for the election of President, if he is not less than 25 years of age; and(b)for the election of Councillor, if he is not less than 21 years of age.
