Section 9 in Maharashtra Kidney Transplantation Act, 1982
9. Protection of persons acting under the Act in good faith.
- No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against an approved institution or a person lawfully in possession of the body of a deceased person or the Coroner or any other officer performing functions similar to those of the Coroner or any officer of an approved institution of or the Government or a local authority or any registered medical practitioner, for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done in pursuance of this Act or the rules made thereunder.
