9. Presiding Officer of the Forum.
(1)The Chairman of the Forum appointed under regulation 7 (1) (i) shall be the presiding officer of the Forum.(2)The Chairperson shall have the general powers of superintendence and control over the Forum.(3)In case the Chairperson of the Forum is unable to discharge the functions owing to his absence, illness or any other cause, the Member appointed under regulation 7 (1) (ii) shall discharge the functions of the Chairperson, until the day when the Chairperson assumes his office.
