49. Functions of Gram Panchayat.
- It shall be the duty of a Grain Panchayat in so far as the Gram Panchayat funds allow to perform within its areas the following functions :-(1)[ to (17) omitted] [Omitted by M.P. Act No. 3 of 2001 (w.e.f. 26-1-2001).];(18)establishment management and regulation of markets and melas other than public markets and public melas;(19)[ to (29) omitted] [Omitted by M.P. Act No. 3 of 2001 (w.e.f. 26-1-2001).].
