Section 4 in The U.P. Power Threshers (Quality Control) Order, 1983
4. Prohibition against purchase or use of certain power threshers.
- No person shall himself or through any person acting on his behalf purchases, possess course any power thresher which is not of the specified standards:Provided that where a power thresher, not conforming to be specified standards, was purchased by or was otherwise in possession of any person before the commencement of this Order, such person shall not, himself or through any person acting on his behalf, use the power thresher unless it is fitted with safety devices laid down in specified standards.
